As a lifelong resident of Knoxville, Kara graduated from Carter High School, received a Business degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an MBA from Bristol University. She has one son, Cooper, who is also a graduate from UT and is currently attending Law School. Kara is an active member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, and dearly loves her church and church family. She is a proud member of her Vol family who has a long tradition of attending UT football and basketball games. They love to travel and frequent good concerts and sporting events of all types.
Having the fortune of calling Knoxville “home” all her life, Kara is blessed with lots of friends, family, and customers in the area. Kara’s friends will tell you that she sees someone she knows almost everywhere she goes, and Kara finds it delightful to add friends to her circle. She enjoys staying busy, and thankfully, most all of her customers become dear friends, allowing her many opportunities to do fun things.
Kara began selling real estate when her son began Kindergarten 17 years ago. She wanted a career that would allow her flexibility to be a Mom to the world’s busiest kid while satisfying her professionally as well. Kara’s career in real estate has blessed her with more friendships than she ever imagined possible! The decision to buy or sell a home is a very personal one, and Kara considers it an honor to be a part of this process with her clients. Having grown up with friends all across East Tennessee, she enjoys working with a variety of customers – regardless of location, home size, price range, etc. Building deep relationships is her love and her strength, and she is always thankful for the opportunity to help clients reach their real estate goals.
